Meet Ms. Churchill
Hey y'all! My name is Ms. Churchill. Here are some fun facts about me, in case you were wondering. I was born and raised in Pitt County, NC. I love to read, play ball, ride my bike, and watch movies with a bowl of butter popcorn!
A lovely little town called Buies Creek, NC was my home for four years while I attended Campbell University. I was blessed with the opportunity to be a Division 1 student-athlete, which allowed me to play softball while pursuing my degree. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Teacher Licensure, Summa Cum Laude, and I am certified to teach grades 6-12.
My experiences as a daughter, friend, student, athlete, and teacher have fostered a deep commitment to the pursuit of excellence. One of my teachers once wrote, "Be good" in my yearbook. Those words were crossed out, and beside it she wrote, "Be great!" To me, that meant refuse to settle for less than I am capable. I strive to make the most of the blessings, opportunities, and resources I have been given. As your teacher, I expect the same from you. Everyone in our classroom brings their own experiences, knowledge, and abilities. YOU are an important part of our class, and I look forward to helping you grow as an individual this semester!
